NORTH HAVEN, CT — Officials are advising motorists of an upcoming road closure that will be in effect due to a construction project in North Haven. Route 22 at the railroad crossing will be closed at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 15 through 5 p.m. on Monday, May 17 to replace the crossing surface, according to North Haven police. "This closure may be extended if weather conditions have an impact on the replacement of the crossing," police wrote in a post on Facebook. "Detour routes will be posted but commuters should avoid the area if possible."
