Press release from the Town of Leesburg: 05/06/2021 Leesburg, VA (May 6, 2021) – Beginning on Monday, May 10, the Town of Leesburg will participate in the National Park Trust's #MyParkMyWhy campaign by highlighting all of the parks that Leesburg has to offer. During the week long campaign, sponsored by the National Park Trust, staff and members of Town Council will share some of their favorite park locations while identifying what makes them so special. In addition, the Town will recognize the 11th anniversary of "Kids to Parks Day" on Saturday, May 15. Families are encouraged to get out and explore the great outdoors at local, state, and national parks and public lands across the county.
