ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock police's monthly community run has been postponed this week due to inclement weather, officials said. "Run with Round Rock PD," a socially-distanced 5K, will be moved to 6 p.m. Monday, May 17 . The run takes place every second Monday of every month, according to the department's website. Heavy rainfall is expected, according to the National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio. The 5K run usually takes place at the Fleet Feet running store next to the H-E-B at Gattis School & Red Bud Road. The route typically goes through the nearby Forest Creek neighborhoods. The free event offers anyone to participate, including kids and pups, and does not require any registration.
