Police Looking For Woman Who Hit Pedestrian in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A pedestrian was hit Saturdy afternoon in Hackettstown, and the police is looking for the driver, who left the scene. The crash happened at around 2:41 p.m. at the intersection of Grand Ave and Route 46 (Main St.). The driver was a woman and remained on the scene, even appearing to talk to the pedestrian, police said. The victim then left the scene and the car dove north on Route 517(High St.). Police are asking for anyone with information about this case to call the department at 908-852-3300 or send an anonymous tip by texting 888-777 and in the message part first typing "TIP HACKPD", followed by the tip.
