Unfortunately, the fire season may start early this year! Express Employment in Redding is seeking fire camp help for the upcoming season. We are seeking individuals with fire camp experience, cooking and kitchen experience, maintenance, and mechanics for multiple clients. Responsibilities could include, but is not limited to, setting up camps, kitchens, showers, toilets, laundry and other services at camps for emergency personnel. Candidates for maintenance and mechanics for vehicles will also be needed. The ideal candidates will be able to travel and be out of town for potentially weeks at a time, valid drivers' license, and reliable transportation. If you drive, mileage will be paid. While out of town, food and lodging will be provided by the client (could be a hotel, sleep trailer, or tent (tent would need to be brought by associate)). Potential for over time every day.
