COMPLAINTS LANDLORD/TENANT DISPUTE A landlord and their tenant had a dispute over damage done to the rental property and past due rent at 7:18 a.m. on May 5 in the 2000 block of Live Oak Lane. CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY A person reported that he returned to his parked car and found the side mirror had been broken at 8 a.m. on May 5. The person reported that nothing had been taken from the vehicle. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT A person reported that a vehicle with a male inside was parked near his house while his daughters were playing outside in the 100 block of Manchester Court at 11:55 a.m. on May 5. He said the vehicle left the area after he came outside. Officers searched the area but could not locate the vehicle. DECEPTIVE PRACTICE A person reported receiving a fake cashier's check after attempting to sell furniture on Craigslist at 2:30 p.m. on May 6 in the 500 block of Lyon Drive. The buyer had issued the check for an above the asking price and instructed the seller to cash the check and provide him with the extra money in cash. The seller realized this was a scam and did not cash the check.
