I writing this in advance.. Im moving to the Villages in fall from Wisconsin(Go Pack Go) Ive been playing for well..lets just say over 50 years Ive done everything from oldies..to classic rock..to country..to blues..to jazz.Big Band(I can read charts).Ive done it all.. Ive stayed very busy up here over the years but its time to get out of the cold(hate driving to gigs in snow/ice) Experience..attended Wisc.Conservitory of Music Flew to Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland to play there in 2001..2002..2003 Summerfest is one of the worlds biggest music festivals..I have OPENED there for.. Smokey Robinson..Al Green..Journey..Beach Boys..James Brown..Ray Charles..The 4 Tops..Neville Bros..Little Richard..Moody Blues..B S and T..Joan Jett..The Crickets(buddy holly) The Go Gos..Alice Cooper..Linsey Buckingham..Jethro Tull..Weird Al..Head East..Inxs Flew to Louisviile Kentucky and Opened for Paul Revere and the Raiders(when he was alive)..3 Dog Night and Marshall Tucker Band(joined band on stage for Cant You See) Im retired of course..in great health..very easy going..No Ego love to have fun..make a few bucks doing it.. Im just not sure how to break into the music in the Sunshine State..We should hopefully be there in September. Im looking for a quality band.I dont waant to be a rockstar but I value a good band..always come prepared to practice and to gigs..Always give 100% Any suggestions?
