Part time, June through October (could be longer); 3-5 days a week, must be available on Fridays and Sundays, 10AM - 4PM most days. Full charge Housekeeper, cleaning a maximum of 6 bedrooms and bathrooms daily. Duties include dusting and vacuuming, washing, folding of towels and some ironing (sheets are sent out), kitchen clean up, washing up, countertops and floors, and maintain general cleanliness of our B&B. You will have to be physically fit as there are lots of stairs and able to lift up to 35lbs, very detail oriented and reliable. You have to speak and understand English and be polite and caring as you will be interacting with our guests. We are close to the Southampton train station and 1/2 a mile from the S92 bus stop. Prefer experienced worker (former private house or hotel worker) but will train the right applicant. All our guests and employees must wear masks when in the presence of others and maintain all other standard COVID precautions.
