TUCSON, AZ — The Arizona Wildcats' women's basketball team added another milestone to what's been a historic 2021 for the program. That's because the Wildcats, fresh off the program's first-ever appearance in the women's Final Four, signed No. 7 overall high school recruit in the class of 2022, Maya Nnaji, to a scholarship on Monday. Nnaji is the younger sister of former Arizona men's basketball forward, Zeke Nnaji. The 6-foot-4 forward played high school basketball at Minnesota's Hopkins High School "The biggest areas for me were academics, playing style, player development, strength and conditioning, the community, and nutrition, too," said Maya, via ESPN. "I want to be a doctor, so having a good pre-med program was really important to me.
