Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 05/04/2021 211240569 Preliminary Information: On 5/4/21, around 10: 00 am, officers responded to male shot at the location of 1930 Honeysuckle Lane SW. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. He was alert, conscious and breathing and transported to the hospital in stable condition. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was shot by a male suspect during an attempted pedestrian robbery. The suspect, described as wearing a black coat and brown jogging pants, fled the scene on foot. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
