Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 05/09/2021 211282257 (male shot/deceased) Preliminary information: On May 8, 2021 at around 11:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to a person shot call at 1715 Emerald Ave SW.  Upon arrival, officers located a male inside of a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.  The male was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.  Homicide investigators responded to the scene and will be investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.
