We are High Pines and we need a keyboard player. But first, tale a listen https://m.soundcloud.com/user-158437804 We are based in Western NY (Southern Tier, Rochester, Elmira, etc) Currently a trio of: Guitar/vocals, Bass/backup, Drums/backup Our influences include Radiohead, Weather Report, Dopapod, Talking Heads... We like to jam, often for an extended period of time... We like to get weird with Modulation, technical fills. Both the guitar and bass player take joy in creating spacey melodies and other worldly backdrops Most of our catalog is original music, with a small but slowly growing handful of covers. We seek an experienced and motivated individual (with knowledge of theory being +++) **Ages 20-30** We practice at least twice a week in Canisteo, NY. Personal transportation is a must, as well as having your own gear reliable gear. Currently we have at least a half dozen (and quickly growing) paying shows booked, most of these are moderate sized festivals located around the area and beyond. We need someone who is willing to learn, but more importantly, be a part of our creative process.
