We are fundraising to grow the Sims Library of Poetry and need a small group of dedicated individuals for a phone drive. The Sims Library of Poetry is the first black-owned poetry library in the state of California. We aim to engage with the South L.A. community by offering a space to read, write, study, perform, and appreciate poetry. Our mission is to serve, educate, and find love for poetry, especially for marginalized people of color in the community of South Los Angeles. Currently, we are running the 44 Campaign (asking people to donate $44 monthly) so that we can... grow our Black & Latinx poetry collection hire employees for the library renovate our building and more. We need experienced people in sales and/or telemarketing to help us reach our goal. Dates: March 17 - 21 Times: 10 am to 5 pm (with a 30 min lunch break) Compensation: $90 / day If you're interested, please send us an email with why you're interested in the position and a resume.
