As a Fabricator/Stone Polisher you put the finishing touches an all of our Granite and Quartz countertops that are fabricated in our shop along with backsplashes. With high attention to detail, your focus is to ensure our end product meets the needs of our customers, while consistently practicing our company CORE VALUES: Drive, Team Player, Respect, Pride, Get Sh!t Done. See what a day in the life looks like!: TYPICAL DUTIES: Ensure all projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner Operate a variety of stone shop tools and equipment in order to meet customer deadlines Perform QA inspection of each project to verify standards have been met Inspect the quality of the edges coming off the CNC and touch up edges as necessary to meet IDC standards Use printed shop drawings to ensure pieces match what Measure/CAD departments produced Check profile edges for chips/imperfections Operate vacuum lifter safely and efficiently Accurately measure to 1/16 inch tolerance Load stone for install crews Operate sit down forklift (we will train you!) Repetitively lift 75+ lbs Miscellaneous duties as assigned WHAT WE LOOK FOR: High school diploma or equivalent preferred A positive, "can do" attitude Thrive in a fast paced environment Ability to adapt and embrace change Strong attention to detail Excellent punctuality and flexibility in work schedule availability Safety minded Pay is $16-$23/hour Depending on Qualifications!
