EVENT CHEF for small-scale outdoor events

Seeking Event Chef in Southern Maine, Summer and Fall, 2021. Food Love Laughter LLC is a small-scale catering company based out of Portland. Join our team and bring the magic to a handful of small, outdoor weddings this Summer and Fall, 2021! Requirements: • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Expert problem solver who thrives under pressure • Current ServeSafe Certification • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team • Stellar customer service • Reliable transportation • Ability to lift 50lbs • Ability to stand for long periods Duties will include: • Traveling to event locations in Southern Maine • Setting up our outdoor kitchen - unloading equipment - cleaning and sanitizing work area and equipment • Executing service by preparing a variety of gourmet dishes • Cleaning up and leaving our space better than we found it If you have a strong work ethic, fine attention to detail, passion for beautiful and sustainable-sourced ingredients, as well as an excitement to work as part of a committed team, this may be the job for you!
