Original Rock Band Seeking McCartney-esque Bassist

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. My drummer/creative co-captain and I are on the search for a McCartney-esque bassist - and if you sing, even better! (Though it is by no means a requirement.) A bit about the band: we're an original rock outfit that's been active in the greater Boston music scene for the better part of five years in various forms (quartet with two singers, a quintet with three singers, a trio with one singer - you get the idea). This isn't a hobby for us - we're committed musicians and take our work seriously. Sonically speaking, we fall somewhere between the Pretenders, the Beatles, Wilco, and U2. In short, we're a rock band. We've also been called a jam band for people that hate jam bands which always makes us laugh. In non-pandemic times, we rehearse and perform regularly (rehearse at least once a week, perform as much as makes sense without oversaturating the market). We're finishing up a set of 11 new songs in addition to the 15 or so other originals we already have. The expectations for you would be to learn the parts as they are and then when we bring in new material (drummer and I write the songs) you'd come up with your parts for the songs. Other things to note: we're both in our 30s and while we have day jobs, our music and getting our band off the ground so to speak is ultimately our priority.
