From now until the end of May 2021, we are offering a $250.00 signing bonus. To qualify for the signing bonus, you must fill out an application and list Craigslist in the referred by box. You must be offered a position between now and the end of may and stay with the company a minimum of 90 days. At the end of the 90 days you will receive your signing bonus. Clarke's Sheet Metal, Inc. is an established manufacturing company founded in 1952. The equipment we manufacture is used primarily for the collection, handling, and storage of wood by-products. We also manufacture the PyroGuard spark detection and extinguishment system for use within this equipment to make complete material moving systems. The majority of our equipment is sold to primary and secondary wood product manufacturers. Our PyroGuard Spark Detection and Extinguishment System department is accepting applications for a qualified Electronics/Field Technician. This position would include a combination of office/lab work as well as field service work. Job Duties: Field Service Technician - Have excellent troubleshooting skills and understanding of various electronic/electrical/mechanical equipment to effectively diagnose problems within a timely manner. Must be able to navigate industrial plant sites working with others or by one’s self. Must be able to use plant machinery in safe way (harnesses, manlifts, power tools, ladders, etc.). Must be able to evaluate plants electrical equipment (power panels, plc, motors, controls, machinery) with safety and without damage. Must be able to assess the equipment for engineering correctness or oversights. Must be able to deal with all types of plant personnel from equipment operators, electricians, supervisors, and managers. Good documentation skills necessary to document all service procedures for reports sent to customer. Travelling required along with driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport. Requirements: Basic foundation of knowledge and skills in electronics, as generally obtained through an Associate of Science degree in electronics or related field, or similar certified course work in an applicable field of study and at least one year of related work experience. Able to work safely with AC/DC components and mechanical equipment and in industrial environments. Drug screening and physical required.
