Local moving and storage company seeking an Dispatcher/Operations Manager in Phoenix, AZ.
The Dispatcher/Operations Manager will oversee operations, customer service, dispatching, warehouse and office activities. They will help manage and oversee Crews, processes and systems; making sure productivity targets are met and maintain security; will ensure workplace health and safety requirements are being met.
Responsibilities:
*Responsible for efficient and timely delivery of materials based on customer demand.
*Reviewing orders and order changes from customer service and sales representatives.
*Scheduling crews for residential and commercial moves, and storage clients moving in and out of storage.
*Coordinating with drivers, customers, and sales representatives.
*Coordinate special jobs with quality control, service, scheduling, and operations.
*Assisting with resolution of customers delivery issues and customers complaints.
Education: High school diploma/GED
Requirements/Qualifications:
*Dispatch experience in Logistics, Storage, Moving Industries.
*Knowledge of or willingness to learn and compliance with Department of Transportation Regulations directly affecting our drivers.
*Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) and interact positively with fairly with customers (internal and external), vendors and contractors.
*Customer service.
*Proficient with computer systems (i.e. Microsoft products (especially Excel), Dispatch systems).
