Job Description Lathe Setup/Operator Global Dental Science, AvaDent, located in Scottsdale, specializes in digital dentistry, seeks to hire a manual lathe operator to support our growing operation for our afternoon shift. This is an entry-level position with lots of internal growth opportunities!! Ø Lathe Operators set up and operate manual CNC Lathe and runs parts according to work instruction. Experience in setup and operation of manual lathes with a digital read-out is desirable. Previous CNC mill experience is preferred. This role will maintain process and quality records of materials and maintenance logs. Computer skills are required, keyboard and Microsoft word. Prior experience in manufacturing, following work instructions, and enthusiasm to learn new skills are key. Must be able to inspect own parts using basic measuring tools, both manual and digital Well-organized and possess excellent communication skills Takes pride in quality and possess a positive, team-oriented attitude Works effectively both independently and in a team environment Achieves results based on pre-defined priorities & schedule Ability to read, write and speak effectively in English +++Competitive Benefits include: $15.00/Hourly, 40 Hours/Week, M-F 4:30 am-12:30 pm Medical, Dental, Vision, Short/Long-Term Disability, Life and Pet Insurance. ü 3 Weeks PAID TIME off, PLUS 8 Paid Holidays=184 Paid Hours Annually!!!
