Description

JMB Renewables is seeking an Excavation and Concrete foreman to join our fast growing team. You will be responsible to read and understand blueprints and project specifications with the project superintendent in order to plan construction sequencing. You will be responsible for managing the safety and daily activities of a 6 man crew. Responsibilities: Supervise the layout, assembly, and installation of electrical equipment pads Utilize heavy equipment and trucking to excavate, haul, install, and complete electrical trench and concrete projects. Supervise and direct hand digging around sensitive utilities Continually inspect the work site for potential hazards or safety concerns. Responsible for safe work environments and comply with state, federal, and OSHA Take-Off and ordering of materials, aggregates, and project requirements. Coordinate with electrical foreman and the site Construction Manager Manage the means and methods for locating utilities and excavating safely around them. Manage the proper backfill of trenches, finishing of concrete and asphalt, forming and finishing of concrete pads. Qualifications: Must have a valid CA Driver's License Must have 5-7 years of experience directing underground construction and concrete forming Experience excavating, saw cutting, trenching, and working around other subcontractor trades Must be able and willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 40 to 90 pounds Must be able to operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery If you are interested please respond by applying with a resume.
