Drummer/Singer looking for other singing musician

Hello - I wish there were a better way of meeting other musicians. I just need to know a lot more of you. I play drums and sing - a wide variety of music. I'd like to be in or put together a very small variety band, with vocals. Maybe play at North County Coastal Restaurants and other Venues. I'd like to "meet" other musicians and see what happens, if anything. Yes, classic rock would be easiest. I'm 'almost' up for anything. I'm not holding my breath on this.
