As a Compounding Pharmacy Lab Technician, you will work closely with our progressive, world-class pharmacists to provide personalized service to each customer. The ideal candidate has the ability to process a variety of compounds prescriptions in a fast-paced, lab environment and maintains a positive attitude with fellow team members. Our Pharmacy Technicians work promptly, safely and accurately to maintain production flow and fill prescriptions. Requirements: Demonstrate Reliability Excellent and efficient data entry skills Knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 8 hours Responsibilities may include: Receive written and electronic prescriptions or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate Enter and maintain prescription data using pharmacy software system Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions Contact doctor’s offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information and initiate refill requests Specialize in the resolution of prescription insurance claims Assist the pharmacists with packaging medications and affixing proper labels Maintain the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed Employee Rewards: Paid advanced training opportunities in the compounding field In-house product training Event volunteer opportunities in the community 30% discount on our tasty deli menu Deep discounts on vitamin supplements Discounts on Peoples Rx practitioner consultation services Medical, dental and vision (FT only) Vacation, holiday, personal time (FT only) 401K match
