PRIMARY ROLE The primary role of the NWF delivery driver is to safely and effectively transport products both to and from our retail locations on a specific delivery route in a timely fashion. Other responsibilities include; reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading the truck as well as providing excellent service to our retail locations. This job will frequently have additional side delivery’s, pick-ups as well as special runs on an as needed basis. Individual must be motivated and show a willingness to learn and have a positive pleasant disposition. ESSENTIAL DUTIES The delivery driver has primary responsibility for the following: 1. Providing customers with a great customer experience through delivery of product. 2. Loading truck in a proficient and organized manner. 3. Reading, interpreting paperwork for special delivery and/or handling instructions. 4. Completing require paperwork/logs both on truck as well as in store. 5. Adherence to delivery schedule, while being flexible enough to adjust when needed. 6. Carefully unload products from truck and bring into store for place in store designated area. 7. Communication in a respectful manner regarding deliveries or pick-ups, store, customer and otherwise. 8. Adherence to proper paperwork to include respectful explanation at store level if not filled out correctly. 9. Coordinate with store and manufacturing for home delivery of customer projects where size is an obstacle. 10. Review deliveries with customers to be sure items meet their needs and has arrived in good condition. 11. Coordinate with Manufacturing Director, the regular maintenance and cleanliness of the truck inside and out. 12. Collaborate with commercial division any special deliveries or pickups within the local area. 13. Complete any additional pick-ups will calls or special purchases as assigned by Manufacturing Director. 14. Adhere to and promote company values as the driver and as an ambassador of the company, whenever driving. 15. Daily visual inspection of the truck both before and after shift. 16. Perform other tasks as assigned in a timely fashion. 17. Regular and punctual attendance. 18. Ability to lift 58 pounds. 19. Strictly follow all DOT and safety procedures. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED 1. Valid Driver’s License. 2. Clean driving record. 3. Ability to pass background check and drug screen. 4. Strong customer service skills. 5. Must possess a positive and professional attitude. 6. Minimum 1-year delivery driver experience is preferred. 7. Initiative and ability to work independently. 8. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. 9. High school diploma or GED. this is a part time position.
