Assistant Warehouse Manager - Commercial Construction

Responsibilities of this position: - Assist the warehouse manager as necessary - Load & unload trucks - Receive shipments into warehouse - Pick orders and prepare (package, palletize, wrap) for shipping - Organize and maintain cleanliness of facility - Interface with Warehouse Manager and other Project Management staff to support the projects and general handy-man work we do - Work as required with other warehouse workers or Field Mechanics to load / un-load heavy items from our fleet of delivery trucks, pick up materials from suppliers, etc. Requirements: - Driver's license and clean driving record a must - Hard work ethic - Ability to operate without direct supervision - Knowledge of general construction materials a plus - Attention to detail - Forklift experience a plus - Ability to lift up to 80lbs to chest level This is an hourly position that pays in the $20 - $25 per hour range. Business hours are 8a-5p Monday through Friday, with some weekends and over-time necessary. Previous warehouse work experience is preferred. We are an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company.
