What Next? We are currently reviewing resumes for a Frame Shop Assistant. As a Frame Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Operations in the fulfillment of custom and specialized wood puzzles. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsible for cutting and joining picture frames and wood stretcher bars. Stretching canvas on stretcher bars. Using a pneumatic air gun in a spray booth, spray clear top-coat on finished art. While using various saws and tools, precision-cut 4x8 wood panels down to specific sizes, ensuring minimal waste. Affix images to wood pieces using attention to detail and accuracy. Using various hand tools and shop tools, mount, cut, sand and clean product, and pack finished product for order fulfillment. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent. The ability to have exact attention to detail is required. Must have prior experience using power tools and shop tools, such as table saws, drum sanders, and other pneumatic tools. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be dependable and punctual. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
