Warehouse Materials Handler / Forklift Operator Job Description We are looking for a self motivated team player to fill this position! We are looking for a full time employee on 1st shift Monday - Friday. Expect to receive many hours of overtime in the 1st 3 months. Pick/pack & ship orders based on job tickets Close attention to detail of reading work orders and counting product for packing & shipping orders Lifting requirement of 25 - 120 lbs. throughout the day Experience with a Stand Up Reach Forklift or certified forklift operator license a plus Work in the receiving department making sure to follow proper inventory receiving procedures and protocol Transport materials or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility Load and unload pallets or product from trucks in receiving and loading dock areas Move product packed on pallets or in crates to designated areas in the fulfillment facility Receive and put product away the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions Verify receiving packing list and verify that all products are accounted for and fill out receiving logs Inspect Returns from trade shows to verify all equipment is clean and inspect for ay breakage Work with speed, efficiency and accuracy to produce and assemble client kitting project demands Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging batteries and lubricating equipment Examines products to verify conformance to quality standards Actively cleans work space (warehouse) and keeps the approach clear of debris, etc. Requirements: Must be able to lift 25 lb. – 120 lb. throughout the day High School Diploma or GED preferred Must be able to operate pallet jacks, forklift, tape guns etc. Ability to read and comprehend job tickets and customer specifications Ability to have strong Math and written skills Must have current forklift license and understand all applicable rules regarding the safe operation and use of a forklift Must have a current driver’s license Must speak English (ability to speak Spanish is a plus) Must be able to work overtime as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
