I have a Jersey Giant Rooster that I would like to trade for a hen (any good egg laying breed). I bought a few sexed chickens from tractor supply and 1 of them turned out to be a rooster. He is a little skittish of humans, but is friendly and has not shown me any aggression at all. He is 2 1/2 months old (bought him as a 1-2 day old chick on 2/27) and he just started crowing a few days ago. He crows only for a few minutes EXACTLY at sunrise :) I am located in Lake Dallas.
