Farming internship with livestock

Tule Fog Farm has an internship opening! The internship is intended for people who want to learn intensive rotational grazing and organic and pastured livestock and poultry management skills for homesteading or small scale farming. We have sheep, cattle, goats, pigs, turkeys and chickens. Time commitment is approximately 4 hours one morning each week. This is a volunteer program intended for education but we do also send people home with a small amount of meat or eggs or dairy as a thank you for your help. Lifting of up to 50lbs is required. MINIMUM 4 MONTH COMMITMENT of one morning a week. At this time we have Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings open.
