Sawyer Job Description 5280 Stone Company LLC has been in business since 2012. Building on experience, we strive to create a seamless process, from quoting to install. We carry a wide variety of products. We carry Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Soapstone, Quartz, and many more. We are looking to add another Sawyer to our team. We are only hiring experienced machine operators currently. This candidate must possess a strong work ethic willing to learn and absorb all information. This position requires the employee to be able to read both a tape measure and be able to focus and read on a computer/ CAD layout. Pay is based on experience. Responsibilities: • Inspect and mark completed work pieces and place them on carts to be moved to the next workstation • Operate CNC machinery for granite fabrication including saw-waterjet combo, routers and in-line polishers • Perform any other work required to ensure the efficient operation of the business, including clean up, loading and unloading trucks, cleaning of machinery, vehicles, material handling, etc. • Follow policies and procedures set forth by management • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed • Participate in scheduled events that 5280 Stone Company LLC encourages for the team • Follow the Core Values of 5280 Stone Company LLC o Honor – Do what you say you are going to do when you say you are going to do it o Excellence – Always strive to be the best at what you do o Agape – Love everyone you meet with relentless passion and unwavering faith Qualifications • Must be able to lift or move up to 100 lbs. and operate heavy machinery to move materials. Regular standing, walking, and using of hand tools. • Great communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible, and meet deadlines • Basic computer skills including Word and Excel • Work well with others and be a team player
