The Great Plains Blind Factory is a family owned and operated business here in the Quad Cities. For the last 27 years we have been manufacturing and selling custom made window treatments. Our company takes pride in our quality products and customer service. We are currently looking for someone who is independent, and has a positive outlook to become the newest member of our family. Job Position: Manufacturing and repairs of custom window treatments Job responsibilities: • Manufacturing and assembling custom made window treatments Necessary skills: • Must be at least 21 years old • Basic math skills, fraction • Must possess a basic knowledge of hand tools reading a tape measure • Ability to work with limited supervision Physical Demands: • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials • Typically not lifting more than 10 lbs. but some work can require up to 35 lbs. • Frequently required to stand, reach and work above head and waist level. • Good coordination, motor skills and dexterity Benefits • 401k • Health/Dental insurance • Paid vacation/Paid holidays * Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
