Experienced maintenance tech with excellent painting skills needed for 2 vintage properties in Downtown Portland. This position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday 7:30 am-4:30 pm. This position would start out at 2 vintage buildings near Providence Park and eventually add two more buildings in downtown and the inner east side. Primary responsibilities include: - Ensuring a safe environment for self and others through safe work practices and the use of personal protective equipment - apartment maintenance - turnover work - minor repairs including electrical and plumbing - Prepping areas for a professional and clean paint - Addressing issues such as patching holes, texture, smooth wall repairs on both sheet rock and plaster - Minor trim repairs and carpentry - Painting apartments upon turnover - Painting common areas and some exterior work Depending on business need and the skill level of the successful applicant this position may also include the following: - Review punch list and complete turnover maintenance in a timely manner or as instructed - Participate in meetings and training sessions as required - Complete all resident maintenance/repair requests in a timely and professional manner - Utilize a P.O. system for purchases - Accompany all necessary building inspections and walk-throughs for owners, management staff, brokers, appraisers and other interested parties - Maintain and monitor interior and exterior common area cleanliness including but not limited to: snow and ice removal, litter patrol, laundry rooms, etc. Income Property Management has been a leader in the property management field in Oregon and Washington for 40 years.
