A small local producer is looking for extra help for the season! This is a unique operation producing in a high tech, hydroponic environment, to extend the grow season from January to November. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing farm, with growth potential for the right candidate. Ideal candidate is someone with an eye for detail, some understanding of horticulture and plant growth, and someone interested in taking on increasing levels of responsibility. Job Duties: - Pruning plants from ladders and a small lift - Harvest produce - Clean, pack, and weigh produce for delivery to grocers - Maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping function - Notify grower of any signs of disease or problem immediately - Mow fields surrounding greenhouses - Other farm maintenance projects as needed Respond to this job posting with a copy of your resume pasted into the body of the email!
