Parking Lot Sweeping Technician

The job is performed at night, between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. We sweep shopping centers, cleaning up the litter left by all of the customer traffic during the day. When arriving at the shopping center, you will park the truck and use the backpack blower to blow trash and cigarette butts from the front of the store into the lot, and then blow around the islands and out from under parked cars. Rocks from the island are put back in the island. Then the sweeper truck is used to vacuum up the trash throughout the lot leaving the property looking clean and neat. There is a lot of walking, much of which is with a backpack blower on. The sweeper does not require a CDL. It is an excellent job for the right person. You will work alone and be in charge of keeping your stores clean. Requirements: You must have a drivers license to work here. You must have reliable transportation to get to work. We need someone that is totally reliable. Our shop is downtown on Wahsatch street. We are looking for someone that would like to work here for the long term. About us: We have been in business since 1985. We believe in long term relationships- both with our customers and our team. We have many customers that have been with us over 10-15 years, and all of our team members have been here from a year and a half to four years. We have a really good work environment We love to see our team members grow in their skills over time. In the winter we plow snow with trucks and tractors, apply ice melt, and shovel walks.
