PSA before we begin, no code request/scammers will be entertained!!! Hello, my name is Buddy and I'm looking for a new home. I was dropped off in this neighborhood before Thanksgiving and I decided to seek refuge here at these people's house since the neighborhood kids kept tormenting me. I was obviously once loved by previous owners as I am neutered, declawed and a pretty hefty boy. I was around other cats maybe small dogs as I'm not scared of them, I just don't care to play with them but I like playing with other cat friends. I like little kids but just like anyone else I also like to be left alone. I will try to walk away or give signals first but then I will bite to let you know I want to be left alone. I can also be a little bipolar and snap quickly without warning so unless you can keep a good eye on the littles I would prefer a home with no little kids as I don't want to get in trouble. My current people took me in temporarily during the winter so I wouldn't freeze as I had nowhere to go and they didn't want to take me to a shelter, who wants to be locked in a cold cage wondering when someone is going to break you out? They placed me on many lost and found sites, nextdoor, animal shelter, etc but nobody came forward. But it is time for me to find a new forever family. I will beg, and like to be asked if you can pet me. If I'm ok with being pet I will bump up against you, if not I'll just look uninterested. It'll help you determine better what mood I'm in. My current people are asking for a rehoming fee to make sure I will be going to a good home and you can expect some questions about where I'll be going and they'll want to check on me from time to time (with a couple of pictures showing how I'm settling in and just to make sure we're pairing well together) even though they tried their best not to grow too close to me because they knew I couldn't stay long term I made them have to learn how to deal with me and that meant they had to love on me extra because I was obviously very hurt and confused about being dropped off then on top of that having to get used to new people.
