#YSPride wants YOU! We are searching for energetic, detail-oriented, excited VOLUNTEERS to help make this year's event a success. Yellow Springs, OH has a long history of inclusion: Welcoming, accepting, and supporting people from all walks of life - regardless of race, sexual orientation, religious preference, and gender. Equality for ALL and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights remain at the forefront of community initiatives. This year, WE WANT YOU! There are many volunteer opportunities to choose from, and we are confident that there is a perfect fit for EVERYONE. The main event is on Saturday, June 26th and begins (for the public) at 12 pm with the Pride Parade. This registration is to express your interest in Volunteering. After receiving your information, we will be able to follow up with more details about where your talents would best be utilized. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Must be friendly & professionalDesire to work in a team environmentEffective with time management and task completionAbility to communicate effectively and successfully interact with varying groups of peopleWillingness to be flexible (Event details can often change quickly) NOTE: It is our goal to try to utilize all those who are interested and willing to volunteer their time to #YSPride. Although this is a volunteer opportunity, the commitment to your role and responsibilities is critical. Volunteers are not just seen as "extra help." You are an integral component of our success!
