698sq ft. basement room - looking for quotes to drywall the ceiling with 2 layers of 5/8ths inch drywall, can screw into the underside of wood beams. Homeowner wants a theater room with sufficient noise reduction. Not particularly in a rush, but am accepting quotes to start installing the drywall beginning on May 22nd. Do not apply if: You intend to leave a couple rusty tools at the jobsite, work for half an hour and then file a contractor lein on the property; don't own a clock; are working multiple jobs at once and have to be begged to come back and finish what you started; don't have the wearwithal to install drywall on ceilings; frequently use drugs during normal business hours; are currently having vehicle problems or have a 'work truck' dated before 1990 that needs to be repaired by me so that you can finish; intend to charge enough for me to plate the entire ceiling in solid silver at the current spot price of $27.62 an ounce; or need to email me as to why I shouldn't be finishing a basement ceiling. Quote should include drywall, labor, delivery, and installation, joint taping, and finishing the joints.
