I have been searching for apartments (for august) and so far I have 65 apartment complexes wrote down. I also have about 7 apartment complexes to go and see plus view on a tour. We have also been looking into Independent senior living communties where I can live with my dad because I am his POA and his caretaker. So we talked yesterday to a woman named Trystan Kidd who is part of the Brookwood Management Staff about the rest of our lease and she explained the following: In June we have to pay $735.00 + utilities for the month of june then in July we have to pay another $735.00 + utilites for the month of july. However in August we only have to pay $200.00 + utilities for the last 15 days of August. Now with this happening for june, july, and august we so far don't have enough money to put down any security deposit, application fees, or admin fees for another apartment. (we would also need to get around $100 to hold an apartment). Now I have also applied for help with Perry Township Trustees Office. Another place I also put our name on for a housing waitlist is the Indianapolis Indiana Housing Authority. We are also looking into Catholic Charities and St. Vincent de Paul. My father was wondering if there is some help that can be provided to us for maybe rental assistance or helping us find a apartment where we can move into on August 16th that would be great my dad said.
