“We will be touring Tomahawk Waste Water Treatment Facility in Leawood, Kansas. It’s a $276 MM active construction project that encompasses the following scope: New electrical substation, Liquids Train: (Peak Flow Pump Station, Influent Pump Station, Headworks, Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) structure with a process Blower Building, (RAS/WAS) Final Sludge Pump Station, Tertiary Pump Station along with a Filter Disinfection Complex facility) & Solids Train: (Solids handling facility, Odor control equipment, Digester Complex & Sidestream treatment). The tour will walk you through all the new structures and explain the different types of equipment/treatment processes that takes place at the facility.”
PPE Required for tour:
Boots with ankle support. Doesn’t have to be steel support.
