Part time bather position available at our busy S Austin salon! We are open Mon-Fri (NO weekends, no major holidays!) and looking for someone to assist during the busiest times mid-day around 11-3 3 days a week to start. Hourly depending on speed and efficiency plus tips once trained. Groomers split tips with bathers, bathers receive full tips for fully completed bath dogs. Our clients are generous tippers. Efficient bathers average $20/hr with tips. This is a physical job is great for people who like to stay busy and don’t mind getting dirty. There are a lot of cleaning duties involved. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods of time, use hands to bathe, dry, and do nails, withstand exposure to dog hair, and be able to recognize matts and fleas. Please note we are a non-smoking salon. We are a fast-paced salon that puts the safety and comfort of dogs (and employees!) above all else. We do not groom aggressive dogs and have a weight limit (no giant breeds). Please submit your resume or job experience and tell me why you are interested in this job.
