Those merchants open today....you get a pass. Others read on. Is your sq footage making you money today? Or Saturday evening? Do your open hours reflect your needs or guests in your stores? I can’t count how many restaurants and business are closed when hungry shoppers are out. I’ve looked in those stores. I’ve been told “sorry we are closed. Come back Tuesday. Or my favorite “what do you have besides wine and beer? I guess we have nothing for you”!! Yes! They had a tiny snack menu, but he didn’t even sell me on the atmosphere or fizzy water. Or the Irish place with a menu geared toward their ease and snail service. How is this place on the front page of search results? I walk all over downtown,at all hours, trying very hard to spend my money. Most of you don’t want it. I ate at little Italy today. Hats off. Good pizza and they are open and hungry for business. See you soon! Open defined as as in able. Some can’t due to covid or what ever. I’m speaking to business that are closed because they choose not to and complain about lack of business.
