Professional garden maintenance and design/install group focusing solely on the LoHi/Highland area neighborhoods of NW Denver is seeking an Experienced and Dependable associate. We love to work hard, have fun, be chill, and work in a very relaxed environment... but we get the job done swiftly and correctly. We specialize in delivering high quality garden maintenance for smaller urban properties, as well as designing and installing new landscapes in Highland area of Denver. This position is seasonal. Our season typically starts light in March and goes through the end of November, as weather permits. The hours are part time, typically 3 to 4 days a week, ranging from 18 to 30 hours. Some additional weekend projects are required, which provide additional hours, and fulfilling special project requests such as, mulching and planting perennials or shrubs, etc... Compensation is competitive, depends on experience, and bonuses for completing the season are also given. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING, APPLICANT MUSTS: (Please be prepared to provide details of the following experience, along with your resume) * PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE as a gardener for an organization with weeding, deadheading and maintenance of perennial plants, general pruning experience with roses and flowering shrubs. * Strong attention to detail and a passion for gardening. *Ability to work swiftly and efficiently, and take pride in your work. *Able to work well independently and also cohesively on a very small team. *Be mindful of the work and surroundings with the ability to anticipate needs of fellow workers. *Be willing to work hard when on the projects, but able to enjoy the breaks in between. *Show up to work on time, be reliable and punctual, and ready to work in outdoor weather conditions. *Zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. (Cigarette smoking is permitted between projects and on breaks.) * Able to do some moderately heavy lifting at times. Up to 20-30 pounds. Work generally starts work around 8:00-8:30AM and end when the projects for the day are complete Typically around 3 to 5 PM. Can rarely be earlier and can sometimes be later. Pay is based on experience. Bonus for completing the season with us is negotiable along with the pay rate. This position is seasonal with incentives to return the following year.
