Looking for Mandolin, Fiddle, Acoustic Guitar

Description

I'm a double bass player looking for other musicians (mandolin, fiddle, piano, acoustic guitar or other traditional sounds) to practice/jam with. I'm new to the double bass (less than a year) but have been a guitarist for 30 years, went to Berklee to study jazz and classical, blah blah blah. I shed hard and love a lot of styles of music. I've worked with 2 great teachers this year and just want to develop as a player. Naturally, if there's chemistry happening, getting out to play in public with a small group would be great. I'm looking to play traditional music of all kinds like bluegrass, gospel/folk songs, Celtic/contra dance fiddle tunes, acoustic Dead/Jerry/Dawg music and maybe some old-time jazz/swing as chops allow. Not looking to play to play classic rock or jam bandish right now. Send off an email telling me what you're into, I'm looking to start playing at the end of this month or beginning of next. I'm 47 years old, male, all ages and genders welcome. I have space to play at my house and can travel too.
