Here are the reasons why:
Trumps ego could not shudder another loss.
Trump supporters are fading. There are less now than there were in November.
Post election Trump proved his true colors to people. He gave up. He did nothing but put and golf. He ignored the pandemic. He ignored all of his duties. Even Trump supporters resent that.
Trump will be 78 years old next election. I realize that Joe is 78 and doing just fine, but Trump is a fat old guy who lives on junk food 78. Biden has better health.
I believe that the republicans are trying to rebrand themselves behind Trumps back at this very moment. Republicans are not willing to risk another loss. They know Trump is a long shot and they don’t want to gamble on that. In the years to come, I think we will see fresh faces emerge from the right wing.
Trump has burned more than a few bridges since 2016. The support the he needs is not there anymore. He had momentum in 2016 and even on 2020, but the momentum is gone. People have short term memories. Republicans are already fixated on the transvestite republican Caitlyin Jenner running for office.
Trump is tired. You could clearly see his lack of energy in his last year in office. He was mailing him his performances.
Trump is done. The Republican Party is destroyed. Politics will never be the same again.
