(I bought him last year from LLL Reptiles after I lost my other rescue snake that I’d had for years. This spring, the lost snake was found in the yard! Having 3 reptiles already, I chose to keep the rescue snake that I’ve had longer and rehome the newer addition.) Drakh is a young adult around 4 feet long. He’s been spoiled, kept in a 90-gallon terrarium with 14 branches, four hide spots and thick bedding for burrowing. He feeds on live mice every 2-3 weeks. He’s still in training mode, and sometimes he makes an “S” pose or strikes, but he calms down when picked up. Sometimes I wear gloves, sometimes there is no need. In time, with frequent handling, I know that he’ll become quite tractable & predictable. If you have a large enclosure with accessories and plan on keeping him long-term, he would be a charming addition to your home. I’m seeking the right home with an experienced Herper and don’t mind taking my time to find the right fit for all 3 parties. I may even consider reducing or waiving the $50 if: 1. You plan to keep him for the rest of his life and not sell him. 2. You have an enclosure for him at least 60-gallon size or larger. 3. You will exercise him at times on a safe bush/small tree outside in your yard.
