Indie, Alternative and Grunge are NOT styles of music. Sorry to burst your bubbles. You are a rock band or you are not. You may be punk, classic, pop, 50's style, etc. But "indie" in the music business refers to a small record label, not a style of music. "Alternative" is a choice between one radio station or another, or one song or another, or one band or another or Pepsi instead of Coke. It is not a style of music. "Grunge" is another non existent style of music. You may wear grungy clothes and look grungy, but it is not a style of music. I realize you "musicians" out there who dread being considered in the realm of the Beatles, Elvis Presley, and the other 687 rock bands that have come before you can never accept this, but nothing I can do about that. Of course this posting will get flagged very quickly. The truth hurts, and the WOKE fools abound.
