Sweet High Energy Hound - Rehoming

I need to rehome a sweet, high energy, 40 lb. hound I acquired Thursday (May 6th) He is 5 1/2, but don't let that fool you. He acts like he is two or three. He is NOT good with cats, he chases them. That is why I have to rehome. But he is sweet, playful, and high energy. He LOVES the dog park and other dogs. He is terrible on a leash and could use some basic training. I have a spot reserved for early June in Brooksville and I would pay the full amount. He is up to date on all shots, as of yesterday (May 7th) and I have the paperwork. He is heartworm negative and comes with a year supply of heartworm medication. I am single and work full time. I had no idea he was so high energy. He would love some children to keep him busy. He has a microchip, but his last owners never updated the information and the phone number doesn't work. All I want for this beautiful boy is a wonderful furever home!!
