CUTE SWEETHEART ALERT!!
Lillian is a young 2 year old smallish cat and is a pretty white/bronze/orange tabby. She came to the shelter as a friendly stray with kittens and she raised them while being fostered by a volunteer.
She has a sad story as she has FIV+ -- a male cat with FIV must have given it to her when they were mating.
That is the way it is transmitted by cats (also by biting ) and only cats can get it (DOES NOT TRANSFER TO PEOPLE) They can live a long and healthy life -it just means they have a weak immune system (like HIV in people) so do not let her outside to eat squirrels!
Please come rescue this gal - FIV cats are sometimes at the shelter longer because people are not sure about adopting a FIV cat. A volunteer in our group has had one for 7 years and her name is Bootsy and she is doing great and never had any health problems. She has lived with a non-FIV cat for seven years.
She went to live in a cage at Petsmart 24/7 on May 8.
Please come rescue this VERY sweet pretty gal -- she is more than ready for a permanent home!
She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and the adopter gets a free vet visit upon adoption within ten days. Adoption fee is $50
Please visit her at Petsmart, 5270 East Highway 100, Palm Coast, Florida 32164
