10th Annual YS PRIDE - Register today and join us for the #YSPride Parade! Food. Music. DJ. LIVE Entertainment. Inspiring Stories & more... Yellow Springs, OH has a long history of inclusion: Welcoming, accepting, and supporting people from all walks of life - regardless of race, sexual orientation, religious preference, and gender. Equality for ALL and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights remain at the forefront of community initiatives. This year, the #YSPride Parade will begin at 1 pm on Saturday, June 26th. Participants are asked to arrive no later than 12 pm in order to check-in, and line-up. #YSPride representatives will be on hand to facilitate the process and direct all vehicles to their respective locations. Please note: Pride parade positioning will be completed prior to the day of events. To help simplify this process, parade position requests are not accepted. CAR & FLOAT REQUIREMENTS: All partipants must display pride-themed decorations on vehicles/floats. Businesses / Non-profits are permitted to have company logos on cars/floats, with the main focus remaining pride-themed decorations.For safety purposes, ALL vehicles must remain in the parade until completion (Exceptions for emergencies).Registration is PER CAR/FLOAT, not per individual.Family-friendly Pride decorations or phrases only. Any decoration or theme that is deemed distasteful and not in line with #YSPride values will be required to be removed or not participate. This is an inclusive, family-friendly event. Only cars/floats registered as a non-profit or business are able to display advertising. Once the Parade has ended, a Tailgate party will begin with a live DJ, Entertainment, Food Truck & more...
