Wahi Rugs is seeking a punctual, hard working, motivated individual who can step in and be trained on rug washing procedures and equipment, work in a team environment and maintain consistent production of rug washing orders. Our ideal candidate is someone would be willing to put forth effort to grow revenues and infastructure of this department. Compensation incentives can be negotiated for future growth bench mark achievements. Additional day to day duties will include but not limit to: * Scheduling and performing pick up and deliveries * Dealing with customers pertaining to rug washing orders * Maintain organization of the all orders * Maintenance and up keep of rug washing equipment. * Maintenance and up keep of all work areas * Have a general knowledge of company policies and operations. Job Requirements: * Must have a valid driver’s license * Must be on time * Must have reliable transportation to and from work. * Must be able to lift 80 – 100lbs with assistance by team member. * Must be willing to learn company programs, systems, and policies. * Must be willing to take direction to complete tasks. * Must be team member oriented. Rug Receiving/Intake: Inspect and qualify pre-existing conditions and needed repairs; measure, photograph, identification tag, move to appropriate work station, etc Rug Washing: dusting process, moving rugs to appropriate station within the shop, assessing specific cleaning needs for each rug, operating cleaning equipment, setting up drying chamber, etc. Rug Finishing: post cleaning quality inspection, identifying and performing touch ups as needed, final photographs, cut padding, apply protective coating, submit completion paperwork. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs with ease Must be able to see colors Must be able to work indoors or outdoors Must have a valid drivers license Must have a GED or high school equivalent sponsored Learn a unique trade! IN-plant are rug cleaning. Labor intensive.
