This session includes training and examination led by a Certified ServSafe® Instructor-Proctor, taking place over two half-days (8am-1pm). The ServSafe® Food Safety Training program leads the way in providing current and comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry, with a curriculum that is rooted in decades of in-depth experience. More than 4 million foodservice professionals have been certified through the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Conference for Food Protection (CFP) and developed by the National Restaurant Association. ServSafe® training and certification is recognized by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. Managers learn to develop and implement food safety practices that are essential in today's ever-growing, ever-evolving industry. The coursework is based on real-world tasks, risks, and demands so that managers leave with actionable skills and knowledge. The two-day session, including training and examination, is led by a Certified ServSafe® Instructor-Proctor. Registration fee includes a beverage and light snack for both days. All participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion. Class Materials & Check-In ProceduresUpon arrival, please sign in at the front desk, wash your hands, and proceed to the 3rd floor computer lab. You will receive a voucher to take the ServSafe® Manager examination onsite at NOCHI immediately following the training. Please bring a valid state-issued ID, a mask or face covering, and materials for taking notes. NOCHI will supply the equipment for you to take the exam. You may also wish to bring a water bottle, as all NOCHI water fountains are currently shut off due to COVID-19.
